A mobile bingo game for a bachelorette party. Players build their own challenge cards and follow the group’s progress between stops.

01 / BRIEF

A game guests could start in a few taps

Guests needed to get from opening the game to completing their first challenge on a phone. I built a browser-based flow with a name field, optional challenge picks, and a shuffled 4×4 card. Players could let the game fill the whole board or choose challenges and add a write-in.

I made each square tappable and added bingo detection for rows, columns, and diagonals. I also saved progress in the browser so refreshing the page wouldn’t erase a card.

02 / IMPLEMENTATION

A shared view of the party

I used Firebase Anonymous Authentication and Realtime Database to keep player boards and progress in a shared room. The leaderboard ranks players by bingos and completed challenges, and guests can open each other’s cards to follow along.

I designed, built, tested, and deployed the game in two days. The offline demo on this page shows the experience with fictional players instead of the original party data.

03 / VISUAL EVIDENCE

Player card and leaderboard

To respect the family’s privacy, I’m showing a photo-free version of the game here. The player names and progress are fictional.

04 / OUTCOME

What I delivered

I wanted guests to go from opening a link to playing without downloading an app. I brought card creation, bingo detection, saved progress, and the shared leaderboard into one mobile-friendly experience. The demo here runs offline with fictional players, separate from the original game.
